Monthly Mantra - November 2021

The Holidays are here and the art fairs are flowing. Here is a quick look at my favorite Holiday Art Markets I will be attending as well as new work being released this November!

Renegade SF Recap

This past week I had the pleasure of creating a pop-up shop at Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco. Renegade puts on my Favorite Art Market full of so many small businesses and artists. After two years it was so great to be back at Renegade and sharing my work with so many new faces. Click here for more info!

Wondering what to do in Los Angeles? Well, save the date because this Saturday and Sunday I’ll be at Renegade Craft LA! This Holiday Art Fair is located at Los Angeles State Historic Park from 11 am -5 pm on November 20th - 21st. I am so excited to see all of you and share all my favorite holiday gifts. During Renegade Craft LA, I'll be featuring my marble travel mug, the perfect gift for your eco-friendly loved one who is on the go! Click here for more info on Renegade LA.

Small Business Saturday Market

Interested in enjoying some seasonal drinks and supporting small businesses? Come on down to Neat Coffee located at 1922 Pomona Ave, in Costa Mesa on Nov 27 11am-5pm for Small Business Saturday. I will be selling one-of-a-kind pieces as well as my staple ceramics including but not limited to: marbled cups, plates, travel mugs, dishes, bowls, and more! I am so thrilled to be a part of Small business Saturday for the 2nd year in a row and can't wait to continue to build community within Costa Mesa.

Featured New Work

For this month’s Monthly Mantra, I’d love to formally introduce my black clay Jazz Mugs! As you may know, each Jazz Mug is 100% improvised, inspired by the spirit of jazz music. During creation I play with a number of patterns and movements to fill these ceramic canvases. These mugs are thrown with stained clay. To create this deep black toned clay, we wedge different minerals into a white clay. The technique of coloring clay with mason stains adds hours and some tired arms to the creative process, but results in a stunning rich color. Order yours now by clicking this link.
