These are Custom Order. It takes me about 6-10 week to create a lamp.

The Painted Lady Lamp is a handmade ceramic lamp by Catherine Rex. Its large size and feminine painted dancers makes for the perfect accent lamp in any space. 

Each lamp is handmade by throwing on the wheel, she then needs to slow dry in my studio for about a month. Once the lamp hardened I paint my dancers onto her body adapting them to the shape and curves of the form. All of my work embraces the subtle, random imperfections inherent to traditional pottery.

My ceramics are hand made and trimmed with love and care, creating truly one of a kind pieces. Due to the nature of throwing and glazing, ceramics may vary in size and design.

Ceramic Pendant Lights are handmade to order in my Costa Mesa studio, creations takes 12-16 weeks. Other marble colors can be made upon request.

These ceramic pendant lights are handmade by marbling porcelain stoneware with colorfully stained clay to create a highly-unique ceramic shade that will brighten any room. In a dimly lit room these porcelain light shades will glow due to their semi translucent nature.

This pendant is available in both plug-in or hardwired, making it an easy choice in any room. You can also add ceiling hooks for an additional price.
